The WPCA Scholarship Program combines two vital pieces of our organization – educational outreach and supporting the next generation within our member community.
Thanks to our generous donors and the expansion of our Educational Outreach program, this year we are excited to offer two (2) one thousand-dollar scholarships to qualified students. New applicants will be given priority over previous winners.
The application deadline is January 1st, 2026. We hope you will take advantage of this great opportunity and look forward to announcing the winners in the new year!
WPCA Academic Scholarship
Applicants must:
– Be an active member or child of active or honorary member for the past two consecutive years
– A high school senior or current student of accredited university (transcript required)
– Seeking a technical- or science-based degree (ie: Chemistry, Engineering, Nursing, etc.)
– Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA
– Be involved in at least one extracurricular activity (club, sport, music, church, etc.)

Jennifer Niemiec Merit Scholarship
Applicants must:
– be an active member or child of active or honorary member for the past two consecutive years
– a high school senior or current student of accredited university (transcript required)
– maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
– be involved in at least one extracurricular activity (club, sport, music, church, etc.)
- complete a 250-500 word essay describing a situation when they made a positive impact on another person
